Quails From The Desert

🍗🍗🍗
“And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day’s journey on this side, and as it were a day’s journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth. ³² And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp” (Numbers 11:31-32).
The Bible recounts a story of the Israelites wandering in the desert, feeling tired and frustrated with their limited food options. In response, the Lord sends a wind that brings quails from the sea, providing an abundant source of meat for the hungry travelers. The people collect the quails for an entire day and night, and then spend another day distributing and preparing the meat. This miraculous event is a testament to God’s provision and care for his people, and the quails themselves have become a symbol of divine sustenance. In this recipe, we will explore a delicious way to prepare quails inspired by this ancient story, perfect for a unique and flavorful meal.
