Description

The small Jewish settlement that Ora lives on is a constant source of inspiration for her. It is located in the southern part of Judea, close to the Yatir Forest. Yatir Forest is Israel’s largest desert forest. It is named after the Levite city of Yatir, whose ruins are located within the forest.

Her unique Yatire Forest, Blue Collection, is the perfect way to connect to the Land of Israel and bring the spirit of the Holy Land to your table!

Ora carefully crafts each piece by hand so that her love of Israel is infused in each functional work of art that she crafts. This gorgeous bowl features a floral stamp and scalloped edges for a charming look on your table. Ora’s bowl is ideally sized for a hearty serving of soup or salad.

Ora glazes each bowl with a shade of blue reminiscent of the Israeli blue sky with hints of opalescent grey. Each bowl is embossed with the print of a leaf from the forest, collected by Ora on walks with her family and their darling dog.

You can complete your Yatir Forest Collection with the dinner plate, side plate, and oversized mug!

Each piece is made by hand from start to finish, through shaping, two firings, and glazing, making every plate unique.

Ora’s small ceramic business is located on the Jewish settlement Har Amasa in southern Judea. Or Haolam means ‘light of the world,’ and Ora chose this name for her boutique ceramic workshop because she believes that the prayers she recites as she creates will transmit a special light from the Holy land to the recipient!
