When you wear Israeli jeweler Boaz Netanel’s exquisite Jerusalem of Gold necklace, you will be connecting to the spirit of Israel’s most famous holy city. Jerusalem has been called the golden city by poets and writers, with songs penned celebrating the extraordinary beauty of the golden city.
When reading the story of Rabbi Akiva, Boaz was inspired to create this gorgeous necklace. Rabbi Akiva promised his wife Rachel that he would buy her a “city of gold.” Boaz imagined what “Jerusalem of gold” may have looked like and fashioned a beautiful necklace with the Holy Temple, built first by King Solomon and rebuilt by King David, in the center. To each side of the temple, he has recreated a charming Jerusalem scene with houses, trees, and stars of David.
The stunning pendant is affixed to a simple gold box link gold-filled chain.
This is truly a stunning piece of jewelry that makes a statement when you wear it. It makes a meaningful gift for yourself or an unforgettable gift for someone special in your life.

Jerusalem of Gold Necklace
Boaz Netanel and his wife Tamar established their home and their family (they have been blessed with 7 children) in the beautiful Jewish settlement of Ali, next to the Biblical settlement of Shilo in Samaria. It is here that he creates his special jewelry.
The inspiration behind the Aley Tamar designs comes from both Boaz and Tamar. Their ideas are influenced by the beauty of Samaria and their deep connection to their Jewish faith. They feel honored to bring elements of their faith and their homeland to their jewelry designs.
When Boaz works, he prays that God will purify his heart and direct his thoughts so that each design and creation brings blessing and light to the world.
