Jaco Shirts
Meet Beeri and Sini Shapira, two pioneering brothers living in Alon Shavut in Gush Etzion. They are the proud owners of Jaco Shirts, a fantastic branding and t-shirt printing company.
Typical Israelis usually accumulate a whole collection of printed T-shirts, whether from army service, school, summer camps, or sporting events. Barry and Sini were often responsible for organizing the printing and ordering for their respective groups. Seeing that the quality of the shirts and the customer service wasn’t great, the brothers decided they could do better—much better!
They found a company that imports printing machines to Israel and, using the money from the end of their army service, purchased the cheapest package available. They spent weeks researching, learning, and experimenting until they successfully printed their first shirt. Today, Beeri and Sini work out of a 500-square-meter factory with a storefront shop attached.
