Hatzav Lachino Singel Organic Olive Oil 2L
Tamar and Ya’akov Haneman established their farm, called HaTzav, in the Golan Heights on the religious Jewish settlement of Nov which is adjacent to the ancient Jewish settlement Ein Keshatot. Once again Jewish families are raising children in the area and developing the land, making wine and olive oils in the same tradition as their ancestors.
Ya’akov Henman believes there is no nobler profession for a Jew living in the Land of Israel than a farmer, and he is incredibly proud to grow grapes and olives, and to produce wine and olive oil on his family farm in the same tradition as previous generations. Ya’akov is a second-generation farmer and has made his home in the Golan Heights for 48 years.
Of farming the Land of Israel, Ya’akov shares: “I dream that I am the continuation of the ancient agricultural tradition of this Land. The raising of olives is an ancient practice in this area, and I am incredibly proud to continue it.”
Ya’akov’s olive oil is primarily sold only in Israel’s health-food shops and also by other companies who buy it and put their own brand name on it, and he shares that he is thrilled to be sharing the oil that he makes with such love and care with people across the globe.
