This set is the result of Shulamit’s vision of the beauty of Jerusalem and was crafted to be used for Kiddush on Shabbat and other festivals in which Kiddush is recited. This unique and original ceramic Jerusalem Stone Handmade Kiddush Cup and Saucer will make the experience one to remember as it is passed around to each member at the dining room table. It will enable everyone to feel the authentic textures of Jerusalem stone as they sip from the cup and picture themselves in the Holy City itself!
Shulamit takes pride in delicately crafting ceramics that feel authentic. Rather than rounded and smooth, her ceramic collection is inspired by the rough, uneven textures and shapes of the famed Jerusalem stone that adorns the Holy City. So you won’t find perfectly formed ceramics, rather, something different, something that has been handcrafted with nature being able to run its course, resulting in ceramics that appear to be from a time far gone.
The ceramic Jerusalem Stone Handmade Kiddush Cup measures 7cm (2.75”) in diameter and 10cm (3.9”) in height, and the saucer is 13cm (5.11”) in length and 10cm (3.93”) in width.

Handmade Jerusalem Stone Kiddush Cup and Saucer
Shulamit Eyzion is a ceramic artist based in Tekoa, a community in the Judean Desert. She is known for her handmade ceramics inspired by Jerusalem stone, a material famous for its rough, textured surfaces that characterize much of the architecture in the Holy City. Eyzion’s work includes various home decor items like vases, candlesticks, salad bowls, and more, all featuring unique, earthy finishes and vibrant contrasts, such as turquoise or cobalt.
Her ceramics are distinct in their natural, hand-crafted aesthetic, often celebrating the imperfections that come from working with raw materials. This gives her pieces an authentic feel, resembling ancient artifacts or pieces that could have been found in historical Jerusalem
