The hamsa is a popular Israeli house decoration. It is customary to place them outside and inside your home. You can bring a touch of the spirit of Israel and Jerusalem into your home with this gorgeous hamsa.
Dorit employs an oriental design with delicate laser-cut metalwork that floats above a deep burgundy background. The image evokes the city of Jerusalem and is anchored by the phrase, “If I forget thee Jerusalem may my right hand forget its skill.” Psalm 137:5
Dorit has chosen to render the phrase in Hebrew. This way, you will delight in the letters of the holy language of creation while also enjoying your hamsa.
Dorit has created the hamsa so that when mounted on your wall, it will appear as if it is floating, which creates an impressive silhouette on the wall.
