Avital Raban lives on a kibbutz in Israel’s Jezreel Valley, where she fashions natural remedies using Israel’s abundant healing plants. One of the staples of her business, Avital Remedies, is handcrafted natural soap made from Dead Sea Mud.
Avital’s handmade Dead Sea Mud soap has an olive oil base enriched with shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, Dead Sea Mud, activated charcoal, and essential geranium, lavender, and patchouli oils. These natural and organic ingredients offer a luxurious and nourishing skincare experience.
The mud in this soap is sourced from the mineral-rich Dead Sea. It is packed with natural minerals such as magnesium, calcium, and potassium. These minerals nourish and revitalize the skin, promoting a healthy complexion.
Activated charcoal acts as a gentle exfoliant, helping to remove impurities and toxins from the skin’s surface. It also helps to absorb excess oil, making it beneficial for those with oily or acne-prone skin.
Including the essential oils of geranium, lavender, and patchouli enhances the soap’s aroma and provides aromatherapy benefits. Geranium oil is balancing and uplifting, lavender oil is calming and soothing, and patchouli oil is grounding and rejuvenating. Together, they create a harmonious blend that promotes relaxation and emotional well-being.
Avital’s Dead Sea Mud soap offers a luxurious and holistic skincare experience, providing deep cleansing, moisturizing, skin rejuvenation, and aromatherapy benefits. It makes a lovely gift for friends and loved ones, bringing the atmosphere of the Holy Land into your home with each use.

Dead Sea Mud Soap
Avital lives in Kibbutz David in Israel’s Jezreel Valley, where she works and makes her boutique natural remedies. Soap is one of her staple products, and Avital proudly points out that she always has at least one soap with Dead Sea mud available. She believes wholeheartedly in the healing strength of Dead Sea mud.
Avital first discovered the marvels of the Dead Sea as a soldier. She served in the Nahal Brigade and was stationed in a kibbutz beside the Dead Sea. While serving near the Dead Sea, Avital helped expand the Israeli settlement in the area. She says that it was terribly hot and difficult to work in, but she also notes that there is something magical in the air there.
