Malki Dead Sea
Malki Dead Sea

The Malki family returned to Israel from Italy hundreds of years ago with family members settling in the Old City of Jerusalem, Tsfat, and the village of Yassif in the Western Galilee. The Malki’s have been making soaps from this time on, sharing their unique family recipes from one generation to the next.

During the tumultuous events of the 19th century, the family survived riots and deportations and eventually found their way to the island of Rhodes and Turkey, where they settled temporarily, always yearning to return to the Holy Land.

When the modern state of Israel was established in 1948, the family returned to the Holy Land, settling in the Yemin Moshe neighborhood of Jerusalem and finally moving to Beit Dagan, which is located in the area of the Biblical Beit Dagan, a village in the settled area of the tribe of Judah.

When the Malki family settled in Beit Dagan, they established a farm and began growing herbs and flowers mentioned in Biblical sources. The family started to manufacture soaps from these flowers of the land once again.

They were the first to begin using medicinal ingredients from the Dead Sea region in their products, adapting the recipes that have been family treasures for generations.

The Malki family is committed to using natural ingredients without animal extracts, chemicals, or detergents.
