Olea Essence is a unique farm owned and operated by the Talmon family. The Talmons moved to the Galilee from the suburbs of Tel Aviv in search of a lifestyle that would allow them to live in a more connected way to nature.
They established their farm and planted large groves of olive trees, inspired by the olive growing history in the region. They decided to start pressing and selling their olive oil and built an olive oil mill dedicated exclusively to the family farm’s crop. As they grew and their farming methods improved, they committed themselves to the sustainable, environmentally conscientious way of cultivating olives. Their olive oil began to gain fame for its unparalleled high quality.
They never use pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides on their family-owned farm. During harvest, they use a rotating tractor-mounted hydraulic machine to gently jiggle the olives off the branches, protecting and preserving the trees’ life.
They harvest and press the olives on the same day to ensure the highest quality, lowest acidity olive oil. The olive residue, rich in antioxidants, is used for their unique olive-based skin care.
