Crown Flowers are a ubiquitous part of the Israeli landscape. In the spring and early summer, they bloom in a variety of colors, from the Golan Heights in the North to the most southern areas of Israel.
Ora draws inspiration for her work from the landscape of Israel, particularly the beautiful flowers that bloom on and around her southern Judean settlement. These lovely plates are perfect for serving dessert and cake at the end of a meal or for a smaller snack during the day!
Ora creates her Israeli Crown Flower plates in her tiny studio with a unique wood mold to shape each one. The pattern presses the pattern into the wet clay before the first firing. After the first firing, she glazes each plate by hand, rendering a collection with subtle and charming variations in shade.
Her Israeli Crown Flower Dessert Plates glazed in pink have subtle variations in color from a soft pink to purple.
Her Israeli Crown Flower Plates are available as a collection or for purchase through open stock, which gives you the freedom to build your collection by mixing and matching!

Israeli Crown Flower Dessert Plate – Pink
Ora’s small ceramic business is located on the Jewish settlement Har Amasa in southern Judea. Or Haolam means ‘light of the world,’ and Ora chose this name for her boutique ceramic workshop because she believes that the prayers she recites as she creates will transmit a special light from the Holy land to the recipient!
