Jewish women light candles every Shabbat, and Israel’s Jerusalem-based Judaica artist, Emanuel, has created colorful handpainted Star of David designed candlesticks that will look beautiful in your home.
The candlesticks are designed in the shape of a Star of David. They are fashioned in a small practical closed box that allows you to use them as a decorative accent in your home in addition to traveling with them! The pair of blue Star of David-shaped candle holders are painted with a charming Jerusalem theme. The small box opens to form two individual votive candle holders.
Lighting your Shabbat candles with these Jerusalem-themed candlesticks will bring a touch of the Holy City into your home and add a feeling of closeness to Israel every time you use them.
Emanuel’s practical design makes traveling with these candlesticks easy. They are a lovely way to beautify the mitzvah (commandment) to light candles on Shabbat even when your travels take you far from home.
These beautiful Star of David-shaped and Jerusalem-themed candlesticks make a thoughtful gift for friends, family, and loved ones.

Yair Emanuel is a prolific artist and creator of Israel’s most recognized and loved Judaica. His creative use of colors, textures, and images from the land of Israel makes his beautiful works of art instantly recognizable.
Born on Kibbutz Sha’alvim in central Israel, Emanuel developed his artistic talent as a young man at the prestigious Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. While studying in Jerusalem, he fell in love with the Holy City and decided to make it his home. His studio is located in the heart of Jerusalem. The city influences many of his beautiful works of art, decorated with scenes from the Old City of Jerusalem. His other works celebrate the seven species of the land of Israel with charming depictions of wheat, barley, rye, pomegranates, grapes, olives, and figs.
Emanuel’s designs are infused with his love for Judaism, a respect for tradition blended with his joyful embrace of color and innovation. His Judaica is represented in various mediums from painted wood, textiles, and metal. Each piece that he makes is unique while recognizably ‘Emanuel.’
